His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Northern Borders Region, Patronizes the Digital Transformation Forum

On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Emir of the Northern Borders Region, sponsored the Digital Transformation Forum organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in the region. The event was attended by His Excellency Assistant Minister Ismail bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, along with several officials and experts.

Prince Faisal began his tour at the Prince Abdulaziz bin Musaed Hall for celebrations in Arar city, where he inspected the exhibition accompanying the forum, showcasing the Ministry’s digital achievements.

In his speech, Al-Ghamdi thanked Prince Faisal for his patronage and pointed out that the forum aims to highlight the future of digital transformation in the Kingdom and empower the digital society.

During the forum, two cooperation agreements were signed between the Ministry of Human Resources, the Regional Emirate, and the company “Elm” to provide digital technologies and exchange expertise.

The forum also featured panel discussions on the impact of digital transformation in enhancing quality of life and the Ministry’s digital services.

At the conclusion of the forum, Prince Faisal honored the participating entities. These efforts align with achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The Institute of Mining Resources Training participated in the forum, represented by its administrative board. The forum’s outcomes align with the Institute’s vision and strategic plan, which correspond with Vision 2030. This includes leveraging local content, knowledge transfer in mining, supporting localization of national competencies, enhancing the knowledge and training capabilities of trainees, and providing the latest research and studies to keep pace with the rapid advancements in the training system and mining fields. The Institute also contributes to qualifying cadres capable of overcoming employment challenges in the labor market.
