Policies and Regulations of Academic Integrity and Training

The Higher Institute for Mining Resources Training is committed to creating an environment that upholds the highest standards of academic integrity.
This is achieved by promoting academic honesty as a fundamental component of personal and intellectual development for learners, and by raising awareness among trainees, trainers, and staff about issues related to academic integrity.The Institute fosters a culture of trust, honesty, and high ethical standards in its pursuit of academic excellence.It actively encourages a commitment to honesty and integrity among all members of the community and enforces the implementation of the Academic Integrity Policy.

First: General Attendance and Absence Policy

The trainee is required to attend all training hours
This policy applies to all training programs, regardless of their mode of delivery (online, in-person, or blended).
The trainee is responsible for the authenticity of the documents attached to absence excuse requests.
Absence excuses are submitted in accordance with the center's approved policy.
This policy is effective from the date of its publication, and the center reserves the right to modify it at any time without prior notice.

There are various forms of behavior that violate the standards and principles of academic integrity. Below, we outline some of the policies for preventing cheating, which include: :

Cheating: The learner is prohibited from copying the work of others and using unauthorized notes, information, or materials in assigned tasks.
Plagiarism: The act of quoting phrases or works of others and using unauthorized intellectual or literary content, or any information in any academic test, without properly citing it as a source.
Use of Electronic Assistance: The learner exploiting the work of a peer, excluding academic help given in good faith, such as copying from a report created by another learner or from an old test, without informing them.
Exploitation of Collaboration: The learner relying on another learner within their group to complete a joint task or exploiting another learner to complete individual assignments.
Fabrication and Forgery: The learner altering available information or fabricating it in an exam or academic assignment, or presenting a forged medical certificate to justify absence.
Impersonation: The learner claiming the identity of another within the classroom, during an exam, or in any type of training or academic assignment. In this case, both the impersonating learner and the learner whose identity was impersonated will be penalized.

Other Acts of Impersonation

Learners who sell lectures, notes, papers, or research work during their enrollment in the colleges, or those who accept monetary compensation for performing tasks for others without obtaining prior written approval from the center’s administration, will be subject to disciplinary action. Additionally, learners who present forms or petitions with falsified or misleading information or signatures will also be subject to disciplinary measures and will be required to withdraw from the program without any compensation or recognition.
