As part of efforts to enhance community empowerment and expand developmental partnerships, Rawasi Development Association held a coordination meeting with the Tharawat Mining Institute for Training and the Social Development Bank in the Northern Border Region on Tuesday, July 9, 2025. The meeting aimed to explore mechanisms for supporting and empowering female beneficiaries—especially those most in need—through comprehensive protection and training programs aligned with labor market needs.
The meeting was attended by key representatives from the participating entities, including Mr. Jamal Al-Enezi, Ms. Nawal Al-Mijlad, and Dr. Anwar Al-Samouhi. The Social Development Bank presented an overview of its financial and training support programs for women and discussed potential partnership models with nonprofit and training sectors.
Following the outcomes of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Tharawat Mining Institute and Rawasi Association, with the aim of implementing specialized vocational training programs that empower women economically and connect them to suitable job opportunities upon completion.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Hamad Al-Shuaili on behalf of the institute, and Dr. Anwar Al-Samouhi on behalf of the association. Both parties emphasized the importance of this collaboration in serving the local community and empowering targeted groups in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives for empowerment and sustainable development.
