The Higher Institute for Mining and Mineral Resources Training, in collaboration with the Department of Biology at the College of Science and under the supervision of Community Partnership, organized a workshop entitled: “Biology and Its Applications.”
The workshop aimed to introduce the Applied Biology program and its academic plan, highlight career opportunities, and present scientific applications related to mining. It also included a lecture titled: “Responsible Mining: Our Path Toward a Sustainable Environment.”
The workshop witnessed strong engagement from the Head of the Biology Department and faculty members, where discussions focused on enhancing collaboration, including field training, workforce preparation, and implementing joint practical activities and field visits.
At the conclusion, the institute expressed its appreciation to all participants for contributing to the success of this event.
